French clubs after school hours at DAP
This year a new program has been implementing at DAP school in the pursuit of offering more opportunities to our students: 4 French clubs for primary kids and secondary students after school hours. In these clubs, new learners have the chance to learn a third language and a new culture.
Thanks to all the efforts, our teachers’ commitment, the school initiative, and the Bilingual District Plan, we are now part of some of the schools which have the support of the French Alliance “Alliance française” an international organization that aims to promote the French language and francophone culture around the world.
Sixth Institutional Spelling Bee
The Fifth Institutional Spelling bee was carried out last week at Débora Arango Pérez school.
On June 9th,2023, students from third to eleventh grade from morning and afternoon shifts participated in the Sixth Institutional Spelling Bee.
In this amazing event spellers had the opportunity to prove their pronouncing, spelling and giving definitions skills.
The students selected in each shift competed in the final institutional contest to stand for our school in the Locality spelling Bee.
