ENGLISH

English is a subject that connects the different content given in the other academic spaces which take part of the bilingual program. The syllabus of each grade has been designed based on the competences proposed by the CEF, focusing on the levels which must be achieved in specif courses. These programs were designed by the english teachers and also they are updated each year.

This subject was one of the first contents that began the process of the bilingualism program in our school in which teachers have carried out their pedagogical practices based on the CLIL approach. Additionally, the syllabus of each grade has been designed based on the competences proposed by the Ministry of Education. This process is carried out by the science teachers who plan and update each year, supported by an english teacher in the linguistic component.

MATH

This subject also was one of the first contents that began the process in our school. The Math teachers have carried out their pedagogical practices based on the CLIL approach and taking into account the syllabus designed according to the competences proposed by the Ministry of Education. The planing process is carried out by the Math teachers who update their syllabus each year, supported by an english teacher in the linguistic component.

TECHNOLOGY

This subject was included in the second part of the process, taking into account its specific features in terms of technical vocabulary and and how it can be very practical through the development of the different lessons. As the other programs, the syllabus was designed by the technology teachers and it is updated periodically.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION

This subject also was included in the second part of the process, bearing in mind its way of instruction focusing on commands and the physical response. The teachers follow the CLIL approach and design the syllabus based on the competences proposed by The Ministry of Education including the components of Culture and Communication as in the other subjects.
